Private Lessons FAQ

All participants must be of the same or similar ability level and must be on the same equipment. (No ski and board mixed privates)
Lessons for children under 3 years can be booked, however only in a 1 on 1 environment. We recommend no more than 3 hours for these lessons, however 2, hours is a more optimal duration for this age group.
The full day lesson allows you to start at a flexible time between 8:30am to 10:30am. You can also choose from a start location within Hirafu Village that suits you.
Full Day Private Lessons are for 6 continuous hours and must take a minimum of 30 minutes break during the day at a time of your choice.
Full Day Plus Lessons run for 8 hours (plus a minimum 30 minute break) and are the best available program for those looking to enjoy as much tuition and time on the mountain as possible.
Private Lessons of 4 hours or less will all start and finish at the base location selected at the time of booking. Locations are at the Gondola Base or Family Base areas.
Lessons start at the time booked; please ensure that you arrive with your Snowsports gear and lift tickets ready to go. We recommend getting all your gear the evening before your first lesson. Unfortunately we cannot extend the lesson time if you were unable to start at the time intended.
You can request a specific instructor and we will try to accommodate your request. All our instructors speak English fluently and some are bilingual. Just let us know what you need.
When you book your lesson tell us what you want to learn and what your goal is for the lesson. It will help us to match someone perfectly to your goals.
We run our lessons in the entire Niseko Resort, so if you would like to ski in other resort areas this is possible. Please consider that for shorter lessons, we will be limited to where we can take you.
