An Interview with First Time Skiers Raymond Gutierrez and Martine Cajucom

When you're new to skiing, it can be daunting. Knowing where to start and what to do can be intimidating, especially when it seems like everyone out on the mountain is already a great skier. For Philippine Instagram stars, entrepreneurs, all-round influencers and friends, Raymond Gutierrez and Martine Cajucom, it wasn't any different. As first timer skiers, Raymond and Martine knew they needed help from the get-go, from choosing the right gear to learning the right techniques to fast-track their skills on the slopes.

Niseko having been on Raymond and Martine's bucket list for quite some time. Both based in the Philipines, hitting the slopes easily is not an option, so to be able to provide Raymond and Martine their first skiing experience was a delight for us. Since Raymond, who's the host of E! News Asia, as well as an editor, columnist, entrepreneur and occasional actor in the Philippines, first heard of Niseko he knew he just had to visit one day. Model, entrepreneur, creative director, cousin of It girls Georgina Wilson and Isabelle Daza, and influencer in her own right, Martine has been dreaming about Niseko since her cousin raved about it a few years ago.

We took the chance to catch up with Raymond and Martine after their lesson with us to see what they thought and what they think about Niseko. Here's our interview.
