Chinese New Year Celebrations On The Slopes

Happy Chinese New Year from all of us at GoSnow!

We celebrated the Chinese New Year, and Year of The Rooster, in true Niseko style over the weekend with fun festivities outside on the slopes.

Our Ninja Kids were there to join in the celebrations wearing our super cute blow-up chickens on their wrists to celebrate the Year of the Rooster!

Candy treats were also given out to all of our guests in red envelopes, symbolising good luck. Traditionally during the Chinese New Year, in Southern China, red envelopes are typically given by the married to the unmarried, most of whom are children so it was fun to continue this tradition in Niseko!

Our Ninja Kid and Ninchan mascots were also out many times during the day, including at the magic carpets and in the Ninja and Yama buiding. They too, were giving out some envelopes to wish everyone a Happy Chinese New Year.

Thank you to all of our guests and visitors that joined us in our celebrations over the weekend! Happy Chinese New Year!
