Guest Services Assistants

Our Guest Services Team is the first point of contact to our guests, they handle our reservations by email, phone and front desk and will assist our agents and direct guests to book in the product best suited to their needs.

The role is fast paced with our main sales desk located in the Grand Hirafu Mountain Center and secondary at the Family Base.

This role is suited to people with a strong customer service and sales background, we are looking for team players who are complete professionals, you will be able to multi task, pay attention to detail and take pride in what you do. You will love helping customers to book in the best experience for them and talking to people comes naturally to you.

What you’ll be doing

  • Continually striving to exceed our Guest’s expectations and to create memories for guests and staff as the best mountain experience again and again.
  • Booking in lessons for our guests via email, website, phone and in person at our sales desk.
  • Providing customer service, and general resort and product information at out sales desk, email and phone
  • Running daily reports, processing payments, dealing with customer complaints and where necessary referring onto management.
  • To be familiar with all GoSnow programs, prices and lesson details

Qualifications and job requirements

  • A strong customer service/sales background and experience in snowsports sales/ticketing is highly regarded
  • Experience or a background in snowsports school is highly regarded
  • Be able to obtain a valid Japanese Working Visa or meet the requirements for sponsorship.

Contract Period

Positions will start on the 6th November 2017 and conclude from April 8th 2018. Some shorter contracts minimum 8 weeks are available.

Wages and rosters

Our Guest Services team work on a 7-day roster with shifts between the hours of 8:00 am and 9:00 pm. Shifts can change according to business demand with staff working around 38 hours per week with 2 to 3 days off. Hourly wage from ¥1200 per hour.
