Yama Riders

Yama Riders is all about keeping kids safe while they have fun learning new skills while exploring the entire Niseko United resort.

Details for the 2025–26 season, including pricing and lesson availability, will be released soon.

Our 7-14 year old Yama Riders enjoy a fun and social learning environment. Available to both skiers and snowboarders, the Yama Riders program includes a weekly Kids Fun Race and a Kids Passport to help track progress.

All Yama Riders lessons are located at our King Gondola Base (Hirafu Gondola Base)

Children must be a minimum of 7 years old on the day of the lesson
It is not possible to join the lesson if you arrive after check in closes at 9.30am
All children are required to have a lift pass
All children are required to understand and communicate in English
Lessons are conducted at our King Gondola Base (Hirafu Gondola Base) only
Ski poles are not required until Intermediate level
